My reading habit

My Reading Habit

I read a book called " Yes Man " last month and found it rather interesting reading the story book as it was quite different from the books that i have read before. It was a story about a man not giving it a try on everything at first but after he met a stranger on a bus who told him to say " yes " more . He was rather inspired by that sentence and started his " yes jouney ". It took me quite long to finish that book as i was not that good in enlish and u know.....dictionary =_=lll.

Actually i collect comic books too. I collected comic books like " Naruto " , " Dragon Ball " and " One-Piece" ( which is my favourite ). I will always read a comic book before i sleep and alway took about 20 minutes to finish one as i have already read them before but just want to read them again. I will always see another detail included in the content of the story every time i read them again. I was the only one who likes to read comic books in my family as my other family members thinks that it is just a waste of time. Erm...i do not agree, as the illustrator of the comic books put in a lot of efforts.

I am now trying hard to finish a book called " The Alchemist " too. It was a weird story but yet interesting. My target is to finish it before the March Holidays ends.

Learn the lesson ?

There is only one word i could discribe about this afternoon, horrible! I was dismissed after school and it was 1.20 in the afternoon. The weather was rather good and i carried two of my bags to the field where the softballers should gather to go for a training.
I went to the field and realised that there was no one there! I called my seniors and they told me that there is a match at Damai Secondary School and my school is playing against them. Being a junior, i followed my secondary 2 senior to go to Damai. At first , i was told that right after we finish watching the game, we will leave that place and come back to my school thus i left my bag in school under the tree shade.
However, it too us almost 1 hour to reach there by bus. After i boarded the bus, i realised that my Easy-Link was with my friend! I had asked him to help me to return the book that i have borrowed last time and i forgot to get my card back. I took out some coins and paid for the bus ticket. The bus was rather crowded and my friends and i were standing. I thought that the ticket was not really important as no one would really check, however , i was wrong. I was chatting with my friends happily and suddenly there was a man with a machine on his hand boarding the bus. He started checking Easy-Link Cards from those people who have boarded the bus. When he came to me, he expected me to be able to take out my ticket to show him. Then i realised, i lost it ! He was not surprised at all and i guess he has met many situations like this before. What could i do ? Of course, pay for another ticket ! He also warned me that not paying the ticket might get a fine of $30 !
Finally, we reached our destination. We entered the Secondary School and we realised that no one was having a match. The Lightning Alert was on and the sky turn dark. Soon, it started raining cats and dogs. We wasted our time travelling so far from our school to that place. It was 4 o'clock. They decided to postpone the match to Friday so we went back to school with the school softball team seniors. Of course, with school bus this time.
I prayed hard hoping that it is not raining near the school but it makes no different. When we were back in the school , i ran as fast as my legs could carry me to the place where i left my bag. Both my bags and i were drenched.
From this afternoon, i learnt two lesson. They are : 1.) Never guess about singapore's weather.
2.) Always keep your bus ticket before u alight the bus !
